The mission of Monadnock Community Hospital's Oncology/Hematology Department is to offer the highest quality outpatient care in a personalized setting for adults with cancer and blood disorders.
Dr. Steven Larmon, an oncologist at Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock, is head of the oncology department. The department is further supported by Dr. Jill Winslow from Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock, Susan Brighton, ARNP and three full-time RNs.
While ninety percent of those treated in the oncology department are cancer patients, the department does infusions for out-patients suffering from chronic diseases like emphysema. They also do blood platelet transfusions. The department is licensed to administer all FDA approved chemotherapy agents
