Monadnock Orthopaedic Associates (MOA), located in The Bond Wellness Center, is a single specialty medical practice that has flourished since opening its doors six years ago. Offering comprehensive orthopaedic services, MOA has four providers — Surgeons Ron Michalak and Brad White, Physiatrist Shawn Harrington, and Physician Assistant Tirara Pack.

From pediatric to geriatric, these medical professionals provide both operative and non-operative management for the treatment of problems related to bones, joints, nerves, muscles, tendons, and ligaments.

Believing "less is more" when it comes to surgery, Drs. Michalak and White have introduced their "Sports Medicine" philosophy to all areas of the surgical practice. Technological advancements at Monadnock Community Hospital in the last few years have allowed the rapid advancement of "minimally or less invasive" techniques in orthopaedic surgery. Combined with the latest anesthesia techniques and aggressive post operative rehabilitation, patients are more likely to recover and quickly return to their everyday lives.

This state-of-the-art practice is also fully equipped to handle all types of non-operative care, including arthritis, osteoporosis, neuropathy, scoliosis, sports injuries, sprains and strains, etc.

Monadnock Community Hospital and The Bond Wellness Center have worked hard to support the growth of this popular orthopaedic practice. Orthopaedic surgery accounts for 33% of all the inpatient surgeries at MCH (joint replacements, major reconstruction and trauma).
